To address these challenges, our team developed GGRID, a desktop client compatible with both Windows and Mac systems. The application analyzes the hardware and usage patterns of gaming PCs to mine the most profitable cryptocurrencies. We focused on creating a seamless user experience, ensuring the app could run in the background without interfering with gaming performance.
The backend system was built to support the extensive computational needs and to track users' earnings in real-time. By integrating an improved and extended version of existing crypto mining software, GGRID was capable of mining over 300 different cryptocurrencies effectively. Additionally, to navigate regulatory challenges, we structured rewards in the form of vouchers for popular services such as Amazon and Steam.
